How can get the smog check for my 2000 Ford Explorer with Mexican pates?
DMV ask for the smog check to register my car that I brought from Mexico but at the smog check station they said that they can't do the smog check with Mexican plates, they need the Calif registration.

Inform the smog station that you need a smog check for "initial registration" purposes. They should be able to enter "none" in the plate section of the smog check process.
