Do I need to put any special equipment on the car to pass a smog test? It is a 1994 VW Jetta
I just moved to California from Missouri and I am wanting to sell my car. I keep hearing that the car needs to have smog equipment on it? What is this equipment and does it really need to be put on the car before it will pass a smog test? Thanks so much for your help!

No extra smog components are needed for your VW Jetta. Used cars brought
into California can be sold or registered here with the Federal emissions
components already installed on your car.
