Could be quite a few things. What you'll need to do is use a trouble code scan tool to retrieve the trouble code data from the emissions computer. The codes will indicate which portion of your Dodge Caravan's engine is having trouble. If we had to take a wild guess, we'd say probably a CamShaft Position Sensor... we could be wrong... but the intermediate fault of this component could cause gross polluter emissions and the check engine light to turn on and off during the test.
