1992 Chevy Silverado K1500 truck failed Fuel Evap control system. How do you determine if exempt?
Some vehicles are exempt if the Evap system lines require partial dissembly for repair. Does my vehicle qualify. When viewing the hose from the tank filler tube the Evap hose line runs to the top of the gas tank and dissapears so it requires the 22 gallon gas tank to be pulled.

Your Chevy K1500 is not exempt from the LPFET (EVAP functional test).
Vehicle's which are exempt are those which do not allow a smog technician
access to EVAP lines required to be pinched during the test.
