Aftermarket Turbo Kit for a 1994 Porsche Cayman

I would like to install an after market turbo kit on the 1994 Porsche Cayman with the 275HP engine. Is there a way to have it smog individually tested and approved in California without having the entire turbo installation approved by the CARB?
