You may have your vehicle inspected at a smog station located in Plumas County, however you must ensure the smog station you select offers the type of smog inspection your vehicle requires. If you need a smog check for the purpose of vehicle registration renewal and you received your vehicle's renewal notice, check the notice for the smog check requirement. If the notice mentions "STAR smog inspection required", you must visit only a STAR certified smog check station. If there is no STAR requirement, you may visit at type of smog inspection station.
