The smog check inspection does not check the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Unless the malfunction in the TPMS causes the Check Engine Light or Malfunction Indicator Lamp to illuminate, your Hyundai Sonata can pass the smog check; if all else (emissions related) checks out ok.
