1986 Ford F-250 Diesel 6.9 does this truck need a smog check if I'm transfering title to my name?

Answer:  

This truck should not need a smog check for title transfer, or for registration renewal for that matter. Only 1998 and newer diesel vehicles require smog checks in California.
