Typically registration renewal requests are sent by the DMV 3 months in
advance. Is this the case with your Dodge? Or have you received a specific
request for a smog check not accompanied with a registration renewal notice.
If your received a separate request to get your Dodge smog checked with no
mention of registration renewal, call the DMV at (800) 777-0133 to find out
why. It is not common.
