1969 Ford Truck F350 XL Past Due DMV Fees

I bought this '69 Ford F350 from a lady whose father had passed away and left her the truck. The truck was sitting in her front yard not being used. She told the dmv on the phone that her father had passed. Now the DMV is making me pay all the back charges every since he died in ordered for me to put the truck in my name. Please help.

Answer:

The DMV fees will have to be paid in order to transfer this Ford Truck to your name. You might want to contact the seller and have them speak with the DMV to see if the back fees can be waived, however typically unless a vehicle is placed under "Non-Operational" status it will recur registration fees and if not paid, penalties.
