Disconnect your Ford Tempo's battery for a few minutes. This will erase all trouble codes and turn off the Service Engine Soon light.
Note: If you disconnect the battery for at least 5 minutes and the Service Engine Soon light does not turn off, there is a good possibility your Ford Tempo has a CCT sensor problem. These are all emission sensors on a circuit which are continuously monitored by your Ford's engine control unit (ECU).
