1996 Toyota Camry has hole in the Cataylic Converter
Hi, would my Toyota Camry pass the smog inspection if it has a hole in the cataylic converter? Some told me if the hole doesn't bother the smog test it can pass.
Answer:
Your Toyota Camry will fail the smog check if it has a hole in the Catalytic Converter. On the portion of the smog test's visual inspection the smog technician will have to input "defective" under the CAT category.
