Smog Equipment for 1979 MG Midget

I bought a 1979 MG Midget that has all the smog equipment removed. What smog or emission parts will I need to install to pass CA registration requirements? (Smog pump, etc.). Thank you.


Answer:		According to the Motor Emission Application Guide a 1979 MG Midget 1.5 Liter Engine comes equipped in two different configurations; California and Federal. Federal requirements are PCV, ACL, AIS (pump type), EGR, EVAP, and Electronic Spark System.
